Thabo Makhetha is a luxury women’s wear brand founded in 2009, renowned for its prêt-à-porter collection of capes crafted from traditional Basotho blankets, known as Kobo Ea Bohali or simply Kobo by Thabo Makhetha. These blankets hold deep cultural significance as part of the heritage of the designer, Thabo Makhetha-Kwinana. Through the Kobo garments, she proudly shares the rich story of her culture and heritage as a Mosotho woman.
