SCALO by Sello Medupe is a South African luxury fashion brand founded in 2009 by Soweto-born designer Sello Medupe.

Medupe studied at SEWAFRICA College in Johannesburg’s Fashion District, where he honed his skills before launching the SCALO label.

The brand is known for its modern, sophisticated and futuristic aesthetic. SCALO regularly experiments with bold fabrics, striking colors, architectural silhouettes, voluminous shapes, tailored menswear, and dramatic flair — all while paying attention to how garments flatter the human form.
