Bonolo’s passion for design was ignited during her childhood in Ntwane Lesehleng, Limpopo, inspired by her grandmother’s meticulous dressmaking. She later earned a fashion design degree from Tshwane University of Technology and gained industry experience as a fashion buyer and fashion director at IMBO Magazine.

Today, B Mashilo Designs has dressed prominent personalities such as musician Makhadzi and former Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane, with its striking creations gracing major events including the State of the Nation Address and the red carpet of the hit telenovela The Queen.
