South African Hip Hop Legend Kiernan Forbes popularly known as AKA  was gunned down early last year, and support to bring the perpetrators to justice has not stopped. The “Megacy” which is AKA’s fanbase have been soldiering on in making sure AKA is remembered. There have been few developments in the investigation.

There are four culprits who have been identified as the hitmen. Recently the house at which they were staying over the Christmas holidays was broadcasted on the news, even the neighbors of the place were interviewed on the matter. Social media is not satisfied with these findings though.

The hitmen being brought to justice does not resolve the issue. The minister of Police Bheki Cele has been under fire in this case. AKA’s father Tony Forbes has voiced how he does not believe the mastermind behind his son’s murder has been arrested. Tony Forbes has also insinuated how unimpressed he is with Bheki Cele

Social Media users seem to share his sentiments as they have been praising Police General Mkhwanazi, declaring him the future minister of Police. In another development the state reveals Mziwethemba Gwabeni, is the alleged coordinator of the AKA murder. Reports say that Gwabeni contacted Sydney Mfunda Gcaba before receiving the 800k payment. At least there is progress being shown hopefully the matter will be finally be resolved.
